The Garvan Institute of Medical Research was founded over forty years ago by the Sisters of Charity as a small research department of St Vincent’s Hospital in Sydney. Since then, it has grown to become one of Australia’s largest medical research institutions with over three hundred scientists, students and support staff. Garvan enjoys major collaborative programs with national and international institutions and places emphasis on clinical links with hospitals and interactions with industry. All content is managed by the Plone Content Management System. Mooball IT originally provided all technical development to Digital Eskimo. Mooball IT provides ongoing technical development, support and hosting to Garvan Institute.

The Royal South Australian Yacht Squadron (RSAYS) began its life as the South Australian Yacht Club (SAYC) on 5 November 1869. On 25 October 1890 Her Majesty Queen Victoria granted the title Royal South Australian Yacht Squadron, which it has borne ever since. The Admiralty warrant authorising wearing of the Blue Ensign was dated 4 November 1890.
