Shared Zope

If you are using a shared Zope service then your site resides on a Zope server that is being used by other clients.

By choosing to use our Shared Zope facility you accept that it will only work properly if all participants share the resource carefully and respect the rights of other users.

Mooball.com reserves the right to terminate any customer's access to the Shared Zope facility at any time for any reason. (Please note that we reserve this right for your own protection, if all users follow the rules below then everyone will enjoy the power of Zope at an extremely competitive price.)

Shared Zope Usage Rules

• Production Use Only: Your Shared Zope folder is for production use only, it is not for testing or development purposes. You must only place tested items in yourShared Zope folder.
• 30Mb Maximum Storage: You are only allowed to place 30Mb of objects into your Shared Zope folder. Zope does not warn you of excess storage, so you will need to monitor your usage carefully.
• Backup Your Own Data: It is your own responsibility to backup your own data. You should use the 'Export' functionality of the Zope Management Interface to backup your own objects to your local machine.
• Importing Objects: If you have a large amount of data to be imported into your Zope instance, we can do it for you. We will charge $25 for each incident.
• Control Panel: We do not offer access to the Zope Control Panel or the /var/import/ and /var/external/ folders for Shared Zope users. Contact us about our full Zope/Plone Server hosting options if you require such access
  
• Excessive Load: You must not install objects that cause excessive CPU load or Memory usage. Mooball.com monitors the Zope processes and will warn you if you are infringing acceptable maximums of usage.
• Zope Products: If you would like a particular Zope Product installed, just e-mail us. We do not guarantee that we will install any products and will evaluate each request separately. We will only install tested, proven and supported products and will not install products in a alpha or beta stage of development.
